The exhibition “Afterwalls: Of the Panopticon and Its Ruins” explores how artists engage the complex power relations in art institutions through the lens of the panopticon, a concept coined by Jeremy Bentham. Curated by Charmaine Wah, Wanjing Lin, Betty Liang, and Catherine Li – the Curator-In-Residence – as part of the Summer Residency 2024.
